After its inauguration on 13 August by the President of the Provincial Council of Alicante, Mr. José Joaquín Ripoll, and the Mayor of Almudaina, Mr. José Luis Seguí, the Almudaina's Almohad Tower holds Open Days until 12 September. During these days, access to the tower will be free, with guided tours by MARQ staff from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 1pm and from 6pm and 9pm (Sundays and public holidays from 10am to 1pm).

The aim of these open days is to introduce the public to this new cultural facility of the Almudaina Tower - declared an Asset of Cultural Interest - following the completion of its restoration and museumization by the Department of Architecture of the Provincial Council of Alicante, and whose recovery is going to turn it into a new cultural and tourist resource of the first order, Its privileged location and altitude make it a perfect vantage point from which to enjoy a wide and beautiful panoramic view over the entire Planes valley, connected to the castles and watchtowers of the interior of the province, thus complementing the range of heritage attractions in the area.
