PAINTING COMPETITION
COMPETITION RULES
1ª.- A competition is announced for the creation of a drawing whose theme will focus on the historical periods present in the MARQ: Prehistory, Iberians, Roman Culture, the Middle Ages, Modern and Contemporary Archaeology as well as Archaeology in general.
2º.-This competition is aimed at all schoolchildren enrolled in Infant, Primary and Secondary Education at any Educational Centre who wish to take part.
3º.-The works will be carried out in the present format. The work finally submitted must include the name and surname of the author and his/her tutor, as well as the name and telephone number of the educational centre. The works will be presented at the MARQ in Plza Gomez Ulla, s/n 03013 Alicante, indicating GABINETE DIDÁCTICO on the envelope. The deadline will be 14th June.
4º.- The winning child will receive gifts related to the MARQ, and also his/her Educational Centre. The drawing will be used as the cover of the 2010-11 Activities Guide. The museum reserves the right to adapt the winning illustration to the format it deems appropriate. By participating in this competition, the winner and the participants accept the transfer of the rights of reproduction in the museum's dissemination materials. The name and school of the winning author will appear on the cover.
5º.- The jury's decision will be communicated to the winner and to the Educational Centre. It will also appear on the MARQ website: www.marqalicante.com.
6th - The posters that take part in the competition may be exhibited at MARQ.
7º.- The mere participation in the Competition implies the express acceptance of these rules.
