To coincide with the festivities of the 9th October (Day of the Valencian Community) and 12th October (Columbus Day), MARQ will be holding Open Days on the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th with free admission subject to access controls depending on the capacity of its halls.
During the celebration of the Conference, the Alicante museum will extend its opening hours until midnight, thus allowing the public to say goodbye to the temporary exhibitions "The enigma of the mummy. The funerary rite in Ancient Egypt" and "Egyptian objects in Alicante", exhibitions that have aroused great interest among the public since their inauguration on 26 March.
Those in charge of the Alicante museum, in view of the expectations that the celebration of these Open Days may entail, have reiterated the communiqué made public a few days ago in which they ask all visitors, during the celebration of these Open Days, to follow the indications of the Museum staff at all times, especially when accessing the temporary galleries, in order to preserve their safety conditions and thus allow a pleasant visit, without crowds and major inconveniences. Likewise, in the same text, they expressly thank all those who have visited the Alicante museum since 26 March for their visit, thus supporting, once again, the initiatives carried out by the MARQ.
Open Doors also at the Lucentum (Alicante), La Illeta dels Banyets (El Campello) and the Almudaina Tower sites.
In the same way, the Iberian-Roman city of Lucentum in Albufereta and La Illeta dels Banyets in El Campello will hold Open Days from the 9th to the 12th of October, being their timetable:

Day 10 (Sunday) 10:00 to 14:00
Day 11 (Monday) from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 18:00

La Illeta dels Banyets:
