X BIDASOA ARCHAEOLOGICAL FILM FESTIVAL

The MARQ participates in the X International Archaeological Film Festival of Bidasoa held in Irún (Guipuzkoa) with the documentary "Art and Empire".

This film event aims to raise awareness of history and archaeology through the dissemination of audiovisual works.

The documentary "Art and Empire: Assyrian Treasures from the British Museum", produced by the MARQ in collaboration with the Diputación de Alicante, has been selected for screening at the 10th Bidasoa International Archaeological Film Festival, which was held on 19 and 20 November in Irún (Gipuzkoa).

The aim of this film event is to make history and archaeology known to the public through the dissemination of audiovisual works, the result of the work of archaeologists and audiovisual professionals in the promotion and dissemination of these disciplines.

"Art and Empire: Assyrian Treasures from the British Museum", directed by Domingo Rodes, was presented this morning by the technical director of the MARQ, Manuel Olcina. The event was also attended by the director-manager of the museum, Josep Albert Cortés, who also participated in a panel discussion that closed the section.
