STRATIGRAPHY OF THE COVA BENEITO: SEDIMENTARY AND PALEOENVIRONMENTAL TRACES
The conference will present the results of the sedimentary and palaeoenvironmental studies of the site, specifically those obtained during the latest archaeological interventions.
From the analysis, it can be seen that, in general, the environmental conditions are cool with solifluvial-type colluvial episodes alternating with other erosive ones and with important backward movements of the abric visor, data that correlate with other archaeological sites of the same chronology on the Mediterranean side of the Iberian Peninsula.
