Only on these dates can these two spectacular pieces, icons of universal art and archaeology, made of gold 500 years before our era, be seen together in a historic event, as it is the first time that both pieces will be exhibited together outside Russia.

This exhibition is the result of the close collaboration that the MARQ has maintained since 2007 with the Institute of History of Material Culture of the Academy of Sciences of the Russian Federation and the State Hermitage Museum of St Petersburg. Since then, several agreements have been signed for the exchange of their respective scientific and museological experiences, as well as to deepen the knowledge of the rich heritage of both nations, establishing regular contacts in the fields of archaeological and scientific research, conservation, documentation, museology, didactics and dissemination. With this background, the MARQ is contributing to the celebration of the of the Dual Year Spain Russia 2011.
