Conference for CEFIRE organised by the Marq

In line with the objectives of the MARQ, and following the line of collaboration initiated by the MARQ with our teachers and professors through the CEFIRES of Alicante, from Tuesday 29th to Thursday 31st May the MARQ will be hosting the conference  "The Treasure of the Barbarians. Conference for CEFIRE organised by MARQ".

This conference includes a series of lectures in the MARQ's Assembly Hall, as well as presentation sessions on the exhibition in order to present both its conceptual content and the didactic resources necessary to prepare the visit, not only in the classroom, but also in the MARQ itself.

This is a practical course to be applied by teachers, whose theoretical sessions are complemented by a guided visit and explanation of the different didactic resources and proposals developed for school audiences.

The magnificent collection of materials that make up the Neupotz Treasure, the largest of all those found in Europe to date, is a unique opportunity to learn about aspects related not only to Rome, an important stage in our history, but also to the fall of the Roman Empire, as well as to how our ancestors lived through these same events in Hispania Alicantina.
