The President of the Diputación de Alicante and the Mayoress of Guardamar del Segura, will open the exhibition "LA DAMA DE GUARDAMAR Y LA NECRÓPOLIS DE CABEZO LUCERO" tomorrow 6th July at 12:00 h., in the Archaeological Museum of Guardamar del Segura.
In the afternoon there will be three conferences about the Dama de Guardamar in the Assembly Hall of the Casa de Cultura of Guardamar del Segura at number 60 Calle Colón in this town from 18:00h.
The conference programme is as follows:
- Conference on Iberian Settlement at the mouth of the Segura River, by Dr. Feliciana Sala Sellés of the University of Alicante.
- Conference on the Necropolis of Cabezo Lucero, by Dr. José Uroz Sáez from the University of Alicante and co-director of the excavations at the Necropolis of Cabezo Lucero.
- Conference on the Dama de Guardamar or Dama de Cabezo Lucero, by Dr. Carmen Aranegui Gascó of the University of Valencia and co-director of the excavations at the Necropolis of Cabezo Lucero.
At the end there will be a round table discussion between the speakers and a question and answer session with the audience.
