The MARQ in collaboration with the Digital Workshop of the University of Alicante has developed an application, already available in the App Store, compatible for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, which offers a visit to the museum translated into sign language with the following contents:
- Sign guides that show people with hearing disabilities how to visit the museum as well as educational activities for children with this type of disability.
- Selection of the best pieces with detailed information about each one of them.
- Educational activities for children and seniors
- Tour guide and educational activities of Lucentum and the Illeta dels Banyets with virtual reconstructions.
The application can be downloaded free of charge by any user. For those who do not have this type of device, the MARQ offers iPods in the museum and in the archaeological parks with the application already loaded for use similar to the audio guides.
