The journalist visited the museum's permanent collection and the temporary exhibition "The treasure of the Barbarians", the result of more than a year and a half of intense work between the MARQ and the Palatinate Historical Museum of Speyer (Germany), an exhibition that allowed her to enjoy the discoveries found under the waters of the Rhine River and to learn how one of the largest collections of metal from the Roman period in Europe was brought to light, which is being exhibited in Spain for the first time.
During the tour of the Marq, the journalist showed her interest in the museum's programme of activities on a national and international level, and highlighted the Marq's innovative museographic proposal, which has turned it into a reference model that is being followed by other museums and cultural centres throughout Europe, and which in 2004 earned it recognition with the European Museum of the Year Award.
