The Foundation of the Valencian Community MARQ and the Provincial Federation of Associations of Parents of Students of Alicante "Gabriel Miró"have signed a collaboration agreement for the joint implementation of the cultural activities for the school community.

The President of the Diputación de Alicante and of the Foundation Luisa Pastor and the president of the FAPA Ramón López signed this morning this agreement which includes, among other aspects, the issuance of a card offering families a discount of 50% on the regular ticket price to the museum, as well as to the sites of the Tossal de Manises in Alicante, the Illeta dels Banyets in El Campello, the Pla de Petracos in Castell de Castells and the Almohad Tower of Almudaina.
This card, which will be issued and distributed by the federation, will also include the free adult admission when accompanied by a group of fifteen children.
Pastor pointed out that From the Diputación de Alicante and as part of its MARQ dissemination campaign, we have signed this agreement so that both the students of the associations integrated in the FAPA and their families can have access to the archaeological museum of reference in the province at more economical prices..
In addition, the agreement signed this morning will enable the organisation's members the use of the MARQ spaces for meetings,conferences or courses and the possibility of to include visits to the museum or its archaeological parks in the work-life balance programmes organised by the FAPA "Gabriel Miró".
Ramón López stated that this is a good initiative that will bring Alicante's archaeology and the exhibitions held at the MARQ and its archaeological sites closer to the educational world and to all the students of the province, especially the youngest ones..
In addition, the MARQ's Didactic Office is planning to develop a number of different cultural activities aimed at the members of the FAPA member associations -parents and students with the aim of fostering family relations.
