The MARQ-Museo Arqueológico de Alicante and the MAG-Museo Arqueológico de Guardamar del Segura (Alicante), will host on 7, 8 and 9 November 2013 the VIII Colloquium of the Centre for Phoenician and Punic Studies: The East of the West. Phoenicians and Punics in the Iberian area.
The conference will address the presence of the Phoenician-Punic world on the Mediterranean coasts of the Iberian Peninsula (today's provinces of Valencia, Alicante, Murcia and Almería), assessing the contribution of the abundant scientific developments of the last decade.
In addition to the scheduled sessions, there will be a free session open to poster presentations.
