The President of the Provincial Council of Alicante and Mayoress of Sant Vicent del Raspeig Luisa Pastor inaugurated this morning the exhibition "Coins. All sides of the story"After its visit to the Museo Arqueológico y de Historia de Elche, it is now coming to the municipality.
More from 150 pieces from the MARQ collections make up this exhibition that explains the reasons for the appearance, disappearance and survival of the different values, coins and monetary systems that have been used in the province throughout history.
The event was also attended by the Councillor for Culture of the Sant Vicent del Raspeig Town Council. Saturnino Álvarez Rodríguezthe curator of the exhibition Julio Ramón Sánchez and the technical director of MARQ Manuel Olcina.
The Fundación de la Comunidad Valenciana MARQ has been in charge of organising this travelling exhibition, which has the support of cultural sponsorship of SUMA-Gestión Tributaria and which will remain until next December in the local Exhibition and Project Hall.
