The Alicante Provincial Council extends until the end of the year eight training scholarships at MARQ

 The Governing Board of theAlicante Provincial Council has approved the three-month extensionfrom 1 October to 31 December of each year. eight training fellowships for graduates who are working in different departments of the Archaeological Museum of Alicante. MARQ. 

         The grants, each worth 800 euros gross per month, were initially approved for six months - from 1 April to 30 September - and by means of a public merit-based competition, assessed by a qualifying committee, according to the terms of the call for applications published in the Official Provincial Gazette.          Enlargement corresponds, on the one hand, to two scholarships aimed at graduates in Fine Arts, graduates of the Escuela Superior de Conservación y Restauración de Bienes Culturales and graduates in Conservación y Restauración de Bienes Culturales with the aim of completing and perfecting their training in restoration and conservation of archaeological heritage.   Four other of these allocations relate to the subjects of Museography and Museology and, according to the agreement signed by the provincial institution and the Official College of Doctors and Graduates in Philosophy and Letters and in Sciences of AlicanteThe grants are aimed at graduates in History, Geography and History, History of Art or Humanities and are awarded so that the beneficiaries can complete their training with professional experience carrying out tasks related to the different aspects of museums, such as the setting up of exhibitions, the registration and control of income or the inventory, cataloguing and conservation of pieces.

         The last two grants that have been renewed by the Diputación de Alicante are training grants in Library science for graduates in Information and Documentation.
