A total of 16,430 people visited the Christmas activities at the Provincial Palace over the weekend.

 

           This year the Christmas is alive in the Diputación de Alicante. This is evidenced by the number of visitors to the Provincial Palacewhich was attended by a total of 16,430 people to enjoy some of the activities that the Provincial Government has prepared for the Christmas holidays, until 6 January.

           A christmas marketThe "Casa de la Casa", with more than 60 stalls selling typical products such as nougat, handicrafts, chestnuts, leather goods and costume jewellery, the "casa de Father Christmas, snow cannonsstorytelling, the musical workshops and the traditional exhibition of Nativity scenes made up of nativity scenes of different styles and sizes, are some of the proposals that have focused the attention of visitors in the days leading up to Christmas Eve.

    The Deputy for the Presidency, Economy and Institutional Relations, Carlos Castillohas described it as "resounding success". the initiative carried out by the Provincial Government ".with the aim ofe to turn the Provincial Palace and its gardens into a meeting point for all the citizens of the 141 municipalities of Alicante."and, he assured that "all expectations have been exceeded".  

     In addition to the activities planned at the main headquarters of the provincial institution, the Diputación de Alicante has organised up to 139 cultural activities in other centres such as the Marq, the ADDA, the Mubag or the MUBOMA.
