The Provincial Government supports the "Alicante Fashion Week" catwalk with various activities and proposals.

 

The vice-president and deputy for Tourism Promotion, Eduardo DolónThis morning, he took part in the inauguration of the fashion catwalk '.Alicante Fashion WeekThis is an international initiative supported by the Provincial Government, given the important projection that this type of event represents for the Costa Blanca..

The transfer of the MARQ for the staging of the parade of Devota & Lombaone of the most eagerly awaited events of this second edition, which will take place tomorrow, Friday 21 October at 21:00 hours, the economic cooperation or involvement in the organisation and dissemination of this event are some of the actions carried out by the Diputación de Alicante in order to support this initiative which, over the next few days, will allow the image of the city and, by extension, that of the whole province to be spread around the world.

In addition, the Costa Blanca Tourist Board is taking part in 'Alicante Fashion Week' with a own stand from which to promote the wide range of tourist attractions that the 141 municipalities of the province have to offer.. The autonomous body has also organised various tastings and samplings of typical products from Alicante, such as the Spirits or the Grenada Mollar in order to disseminate its excellent quality and flavour among all those who come to this space.

The deputy highlighted the importance for tourism of organising and hosting an event of these characteristics, which involves the participation of internationally renowned designers. In this sense, Dolon has stated that ".tomorrow we will have the privilege of enjoying the Devota & Lomba fashion show at MARQ.".

Dolón, who has also placed special emphasis on the quality and professionalism of Alicante designerspointed out that "...This is a brave initiative that is committed to different spaces for fashion shows, a first class proposal that, in just two editions, has managed to carve a niche for itself among the most important fashion events in the country and this prestige acquired has been, in part, thanks to the joint work that we have been developing Alicante City Council, Provincial Government and private enterprise.".
