The international exhibition "Vikings. Warriors of the North. Giants of the Sea" extends its stay at MARQ until next year. 5 March. Since its inauguration last May, there have been more than 67.000 people who came to the Alicante museum to enjoy the exhibition. "Vikings. Warriors of the North. Giants of the Sea", an unprecedented production that allows visitors to discovering the lesser-known aspects of everyday life,cultural, religious and political of this fearsome Nordic people.
Firm in its commitment to bring culture closer to all citizensThe centre has organised various activities around this exhibition, proposals that will also be extended until next March and not until January, as initially planned. Presentations, workshops for children o a programme of dramatised visits on Sundays at 11.30 a.m.The Viking Museum's exhibition, in which two Vikings explain the history of the different pieces that make up the collection, are some of these initiatives, which allow the public to get to know and enjoy the most important aspects of the exhibition in a pleasant and didactic way.
In addition, MARQ offers the possibility of enjoying all this content through a series of guided tours which take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12.30 p.m. and 5.30 p.m.the Wednesdays and Fridays at 17:30the Saturdays at 11:00,11:45 a.m.,12:30 p.m.,17:00 and 19:00 hours and the Sundays and public holidays at 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m..
