The International Archaeological Film Festival, organised by the National Museum in Belgrade, will screen this Friday the documentary "Vikings. Warriors of the North. Giants of the Sea" and next 29th another Marq production, "The Salt Kingdom. 7,000 years of Hallstatt's history". The Cervantes Institute of Belgrade collaborates with this prestigious exhibition through the management and subtitling of the four Spanish documentaries that have been presented at this cultural event. In addition to the two films made by the Archaeological Museum of Alicante in the Museum of the Yugoslav Cinematheque, "In the footsteps of Hannibal" will be shown on Saturday 25th and "The modern discovery of the country of Magan" on Monday 27th March.
This is a non-competitive event and since its origins, in 1998, it has been conceived as a festival that presents the latest documentary films whose subject matter revolves around archaeology and other related scientific disciplines.
