After the open days to commemorate the 15th Anniversary of the Marq, we want to extend this celebration throughout 2017, joining it to the 85th Anniversary of the Museum, which we celebrated on January 17th. The Mayas are now part of the Marq and our visitors will be able to delve into the mysteries of this powerful civilisation thanks to the guided tours that started this Tuesday. These visits, carefully prepared by our staff, take us for an hour through the four rooms of this temporary exhibition in a didactic and very entertaining way, bringing us closer to the roots of Mayan knowledge, as well as to the current state of the research carried out by the Spanish teams in Guatemala.
The Marq, until 14 June, has programmed a total of 8 guided tours per week, in the morning and afternoon, with groups limited to a maximum of 35 people, available for sale in advance on the Marq website. marqalicante-classic-admin.qwair.com, at www.instanticket.esor at the ticket offices in the Plaza del Doctor Gómez Ulla in Alicante. Visiting hours to the Marq, its sites and monuments, as well as the guided tours to the temporary exhibition will change from 15 June, the day on which the Summer Campaign begins.
