The Mediterranean Institute of Protocol Studies, IMEP, a centre attached to the Miguel Hernández University of Elche, held the Solemn Graduation Ceremony of the 2013-2017 graduating class of students of the Official Degree in Events Organisation, Protocol and Institutional Relations on 2 June in the Assembly Hall of the Marq.
During the ceremony, the IMEP awarded bronze medals to those students who have obtained the best academic records in the different courses of the Official Degree: Nerea Ordóñez Chica, Best Academic Record in the First Year; Marta Lledó Cuevas, Best Academic Record in the Second Year; Alicia Martínez Fenoll, Best Academic Record in the Third Year and Raquel Molina Albero, Best Academic Record in the Fourth Year.
On this occasion, the Gold Medal was awarded to Doña Concepción Alhama Rodríguez, former president of IMEP, highlighting her key role, for more than two decades, in the academic consolidation of the Official Studies in Events Organisation, Protocol and Institutional Relations.
Plaques of Honour were also awarded to those organisations that have stood out for their constant commitment to the professional development and employability of graduates in Events Organisation, Protocol and Institutional Relations: MARQ Provincial Archaeological Museum of Alicante, Volvo Ocean Race and Murri Group. On behalf of the Marq Foundation, its managing director, José Alberto Cortés, thanked the award and the institution's secretary, Anabel Cortés, collected the plaque.
