Throughout this weekend, the cultural association Hispania Romana and the MARQ, Lucentum has taken us back to the daily life of Roman times; this time, with the novelty of an authentic Roman trial.
The II Jornadas de Recreación Histórica Reviviscit Lucentum, have had a remarkable public response, demonstrating the interest in history and the quality of this proposal, which once again this year has met the expectations with a total of 550 visits. A figure that confirms the consolidation of these days as a cultural attraction of interest for the people of Alicante and all those who visit us.
The result encourages the Marq to continue along these lines and to work on new theatrical proposals, such as the THEATRALISED VISITS to the international exhibition on Mayan culture, which will soon be available to visitors to the museum.
LARGE TURNOUT AT THE MARQ
The Mayans, with an avant-garde exhibition design, arouse the curiosity of the people of Alicante to learn about the enigmas of this mysterious civilisation, as shown by the queues at the entrances to the exhibition that have been recorded this weekend. More than 14,000 visitors have already enjoyed Mayan culture at the Marq since it opened its doors on 25 May.
