The MUBAGthe MARQ and the Juan Gil-Albert Institute will join for the third consecutive year the rest of Alicante's cultural centres to celebrate '.La Noche en Blancoan original cultural proposal which will take place on friday 21 july. The spaces of the Alicante Provincial Council will offer open days, guided tours, concerts and educational workshopsamong other initiatives.
The Member of Parliament for Culture and Education, César Augusto Asencioand the Councillor for Culture of Alicante City Council, Daniel SimonThis morning, they presented all the details of this initiative, which brings together the cultural offerings for encouraging citizen participation in the proposals that are developed in the municipality. The event was also attended by the director of the Language and Culture Service of the University of Alicante, Faust Ripolland with the Customer Director of Aguas de Alicante, Eduardo Montero.
Asencio stated that "Alicante's museums and cultural centres come together in a powerful museum offer with this entertaining and original initiative which, since it was created in Paris in 2002, has been spreading throughout Europe and has been exceptionally well received by the public.". Last year, the centres of the Diputación de Alicante received the visit of more than three thousand people.
The MUBAG has designed a special programme that will run until the end of the year. one o'clock in the morning and which includes a visit to the internationally recognised space dedicated to Muñoz Degrain and which will be inaugurated the day before. This new exhibition offers five landscapes by the Impressionist, on loan from the Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia. In addition, children who come to the museum from 20:00 hours may participate, without registration, in a workshop in which they will produce a mosaic with landscapes inspired by the work of the Valencian artist.
The Swing & Art' musical evening will be provided by Dami Jazz & SoulThe group, which, from the 22:00 hourswill entertain the evening together with dancers from swing. The concert has free entry limited to the capacity of the hall. Finally, the museum will offer two guided tours to the exhibition The 19th century at the MUBAG.
