The MARQ was visited by 3,000 people during the open days held on Tuesday and Friday.

  

Nearby three thousand people visited last week both thel MARQ as their sites archaeological during the open days that were held to commemorate the Valencian Community Day and the Spanish National Day.

'Rupestre. The First Sanctuaries'., an exceptional sample that evokes the caves and coats in thes which our first art was shaped, has undoubtedly been the the main protagonist of the festive season. The Alicante museum registered 2,500 visits who took advantage of this new proposal to enjoy the Palaeolithic Art and Neolithic (Macro-schematic, Levantine and Schematic)as well as to admire the permanent galleries of the MARQ.

On the other hand, the archaeological sites also welcomed a large number of visitors who, for the most part, chose to visit the sites. the Illeta dels Banyents and on Tossal de Manises, Lucentum that received some 300 and 200 visitsrespectively. Dozens of people also came to the Almudaina Almohad Tower to contemplate this historic building located in the heart of the Alicante mountains.
