The new MARQ exhibition proposes an original journey through the history of humanity through plasticine figures.

 

 

   

 The MARQ presented this morning a fun proposal to review the history of mankind through scenes made with plasticine.  From the Palaeolithic to Globalisation, PlastiHistory of Humanity'. proposes an original journey through the key stages and characters in the evolution of mankind. Asencio emphasised the educational and entertaining nature of the proposal, "an extraordinary initiative to enjoy with the family. The Educa Foundation's project shows many coincidences with the various lines of action carried out by the MARQ, it combines dissemination and fun, so from the Diputación de Alicante we do not hesitate to promote this activity and make it reach the public of all ages in the province. 

 Through twenty dioramas starring plasticine figures and objectsThe exhibition becomes an excellent and rigorous tool for delving into history with a a touch of humour and a lot of colourThis makes it highly attractive for the whole family, as highlighted by the secretary of the Educa Foundation, Jorge Pelaez.

The presentation was also attended by the managing director of MARQ, José Alberto Cortésand the technical director of the museum, Manuel Olcinawho have agreed on the importance of meticulousness of the work and the minute details that accompany each artistic scene.

   The discovery of fire, the Phoenician navigators, the Trojan horse, a gladiatorial fight in a Roman circus, the Crusades and the arrival of man on the moon are just some of the scenes on display. Visitors will also be able to enjoy historical figures such as Michelangelo, Francisco de Goya, Christopher Columbus o Neil Aldem Armstrong.
