The MARQ CELEBRATES The International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Throughout the day there were numerous activities for associations and the general public.

We have been visited by families from ASPALI (Asperger's Association of Alicante) who have visited the PLASTIHISTORY OF HUMANITY exhibition, have successfully solved our enigma and finally have participated in the Cave Art workshop.

The public who participated in the guided tour of "RUPESTRE" as an inclusive activity, put themselves in the situation of blind or severely visually impaired people and accessed the tactile resources of RUPESTRE with a mask, appreciating the shape of the different types of Rock Art by recreating it in their minds and putting themselves in the shoes of a visually impaired person. Making visible the great work carried out by ONCE.

For the youngest children, storytelling and visits in sign language were the stars of the show. The Iberians and Romans have helped us to show the fundamental role that sign language plays in the transmission of ideas.

From here we do our bit for the recognition of Sign Language.

A happy day that ended with a magnificent choral concert by Stilo Vocale in aid of Ozanam and AODI, with which the MARQ opened the Christmas season.
