Tomorrow Thursday, from 6 p.m., the MARQ, together with the ASAUTE Senior Classrooms Association, joins in the celebration of the Day of Peace and Nonviolence. A day dedicated to promoting a culture of non-violence and peace in schools around the world. On this day, which commemorates the anniversary of the death of Mahatma Gandhi (India, 1869-1948), schools become defenders of peace and understanding between people of different origins and ways of thinking, with the aim of achieving an education that allows students to acquire knowledge, attitudes and skills that reinforce their development as citizens committed to their rights and those of others.
