The MARQ Assembly Hall is dressed up this Wednesday 27th March to welcome the "Soroush-e Mowlana".The group, a group dedicated to traditional Iranian music currently on tour in Spain, will give a concert from 6 p.m. onwards, with free admission until full capacity is reached, courtesy of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Spain.
Soroush-e Mowlana is composed of Iranian musicians whose aim is to present the music of their country to the world, and have participated in various national and international festivals. They will present in their programme songs performed with traditional Persian instruments, such as the Santur, Tar, Tompak, Daf and Barbat (Oud), in a melodic composition of texts from classical Persian poetry, part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO.
