Iran Teacher Training Course

Yesterday the course for teachers opened at MARQ Iran. Cradle of Civilisations. Ten hours of intensive learning spread over four days, on 4, 6, 11 and 13 June, in which the lecturers will take a journey through the history and art of Iran, from Prehistory to the Modern Age (Safavid dynasty), complemented by the section "Spain and Iran at the time of the great empires", an annex to the exhibition curated by Dr. Cutillas Ferrer and Dr. Menéndez Fueyo, which deals with diplomatic relations between Hapsburg Spain and Iran in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. The course, in which 30 teachers from Infant, Special Education, Primary and Secondary Education have participated, has been designed in a very entertaining way with talks and visits to the temporary exhibition rooms. Iran. Cradle of Civilisationswhich is on display at MARQ until 1 September. The managing director of the MARQ Foundation, José Alberto Cortés, was in charge of welcoming the educators in their first approach to Iranian civilisation.
