The commemoration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which is celebrated around the world on December 3rd, will be celebrated at MARQ with a conference designed by the Didactics and Accessibility Unit of the MARQ Foundation, in collaboration with ONCE Alicante, the Asperger Association of Alicante ASPALI, the Association of Deafblind People of the Valencian Community ASOCIDE, the Residential Centre for Dependency ASIGER and the Down Syndrome Association of Alicante.
The calendar of activities will run until 8 December and includes animated and sensory visits, workshops, storytelling and games, aimed at both the general public and the differently abled, which will take place in the Museum and at the Tossal de Manises archaeological site, Lucentum. With visits and workshops also in sign language.
The MARQ works every day to offer everyone the chance to fully enjoy Alicante's archaeological heritage both in the Museum and in the archaeological sites it manages.
