Last Saturday, 11th January, the Governing Board of the Professional Association of Museologists of Spain held its extraordinary annual meeting, with the attendance of its President, Rafael Azuar, Head of Excavations and Collections of the MARQ, its Secretary, Miguel Pérez Planco, Director of the MAHE of Elche, its Treasurer, Luis de Miquel Santed, Director of the Regional Archaeological Museum of Murcia, and the member, Mª Ángeles Gómez Rodenas, from the Service of Museums and Exhibitions of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.
The meeting dealt with the organisation of the next I PROFESSIONAL MEETING OF MUSEUMS, to be held at the National Archaeological Museum on 12 and 13 March this year, approving its provisional programme and the extension of the deadline for the presentation of papers. Also discussed was the preparation of the call for the General Elections, established by the Statute, for the renewal of the members of the Board, which will take place in the same hall, on Saturday 14th March, and ratified by the General Assembly of members.
