MARQ launches a virtual cultural campaign with proposals for all audiences

 

Starting this week, the MARQ Foundation and the Diputación de Alicante will launch the 'Stay at home with MARQ', a virtual cultural campaign open and free with proposals for all audiences. The vice-president and deputy for Culture, Julia ParraHe explained that "the entire team of guides, educators and customer service staff of the museum, more than twenty people, have been involved in this initiative in order to provide each house with images and valuable information about the museum, the exhibitions and the sites and monuments".

The campaign, which will be accessible from the social networks of MARQ and the Diputación of Alicantewill offer different contents, from experiences lived in the different exhibitions, to short reviews about pieces and permanent and exhibition rooms. There will also be content aimed especially at children.

Through Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, messages and videos will be shared on a daily basis that simulate visits to the current exhibition 'Idols. Ancient gazes'. and will be disseminated workshops for children with activities that can be carried out at home. The campaign can be followed with the hashtag #quedateencasaconelmarq in an interactive environment where followers' queries will be addressed, inviting them to apply the tagging system when carrying out proposed activities.

The contents are newly created and are being developed by the professionals of the guide, didactic and public services, with the support of the entire museum team. "We are doing our bit to maintain a channel open to culture in these difficult times when we all have to contribute to slowing the spread of the coronavirus by fulfilling our obligation to stay at home as long as possible, in accordance with health recommendations," remarked Julia Parra.
