The MARQ will host next Monday, 14th March, the fourth blood donation marathon which has the support of the Diputación de Alicante. The event, organised by Asisa, will be held between 9:00 and 21:00 in the Museum's auditorium.
The vice-president of the Diputación de Alicante and deputy for Culture, Julia ParraParra attended this morning's presentation of the marathon, which will coincide with the celebration of World Blood Donor Day. Parra expressed his support for this initiative and acknowledged "the generosity and solidarity of the people of Alicante who, with this simple gesture, contribute enormously to generating much-needed resources to save lives and the merit of all the professionals, who give us a lesson in humanity and good work".
The presentation held at the MARQ was also attended by the ASISA delegate in Alicante, Paula Giménezthe mayor of the city, Luis Barcalaand head of service at the Transfusion Centre of the Valencian Government, Mabel Ortiz.
