The Fundación CV-MARQ ha sido la galardonada los Premis Turisme Comunitat Valenciana 2021 en la modalidad de inclusive tourism. Se trata de una categoría que reconoce a aquellas personas o entidades que este año han contribuido significativamente a la mejora de la accesibilidad en todos los componentes del sector turístico.
The First Vice-President and Member of Parliament for Culture, Julia Parra, ha agradecido la concesión de este reconocimiento “que premia el gran trabajo que se está haciendo desde el Museo Arqueológico de Alicante para ofrecer a todos los públicos, con criterios de accesibilidad y protección de la salud, propuestas de primer nivel que contribuyan a enriquecer la oferta de turismo cultural de la Costa Blanca”.
En la actualidad, el museo exhibe la exposición internacional Etruscans. The dawn of Rome'.a selection of previously unpublished pieces that has aroused great interest, with more than 10.000 visitas recibidas desde que se inauguró el 26 de agosto. El MARQ alberga además la colección temporal ‘Huellas etruscas en Alicante’ y una muestra permanente que se completa con cuatro yacimientos y dos monumentos visitables.
