From Friday 4 November at the Archaeological Museum of Alicante MARQ tickets will be available for the dramatised visit to the international exhibition "Gladiators. Heroes of the Coliseum".
In this way, the MARQ offers visitors a different way of contemplating the pieces and elements that revolved around the world of the gladiators and of showing the content of the international exhibition in a playful and didactic way, attracting audiences of all ages.
Today the image of the gladiator still holds considerable fascination, as it is usually presented to us, forced to fight and often to die in the arena by the ferocious and tyrannical will of despotic emperors in front of thousands of bloodthirsty spectators.
The visit to the exhibition lasts 50 minutes and the actors and guides who take part in the tour introduce anecdotes and games that are not included in the conventional visit.
The timetable for the dramatised visit will be Friday and Saturday at 5:30 pm and Sunday at 12 noon, with a price equal to the usual guided visit of €3 per person. The last dramatised session will be on 13 November, as MARQ will be holding open days to close the exhibition on 19 and 20 November.
