MARQ starts its Christmas programme with the lighting of the tree and activities for the whole family to participate in

The activities programmed by the Fundación CV MARQ to celebrate the Christmas holidays have begun. this evening with the traditional lighting of the illumination in the museum gardens. The Vice-President and Member of Parliament for Culture, Julia Parrawas responsible for switching on the Christmas tree lights and inaugurating the Museum's nativity scene.

Throughout today's afternoon, the following events will take place in the Museum's gardens activities to participate in as a familyAmong them, workshops, games such as the wishing well, the royal letterbox, ambient music and dances, as well as the chestnut stall and the presence of the MARQ mascot, Llumiq.

The programme for the Christmas holidays will feature two scenarios, the museum and the Exponadal fair in IFA. In the didactic classroom of MARQ. from 27 to 30 December and 3 January will be carried out workshops and games such as the mystery box, ornaments with ribbons, the stained glass windows of Saint Nicholas, the Christmas angel and a Christmas pop-up, among others. The space has a limited capacity of 25 participants. The programme is aimed at children aged 6 to 12. To participate, you must register at the Museum's ticket offices half an hour before the start of each activity..

In addition, MARQ will also have its own space in the 27th Children's and Young People's Leisure Fair Exponadal at IFAwhich is being held this year 26 to 30 December and 2 to 4 January. There will be games, activities and workshops to promote the educational offer of MARQ and its archaeological sites.
