The Archaeological Museum of Alicante has launched a new proposal to disseminate and publicise the province's historical heritage with images of emblematic sites archaeological and monumental sites accompanied by musical pieces of composers from Alicante .
Under the name of Terra LucisThis project has come to light in which, according to has stated the deputy for Culture, Juan de Dios Navarro "our company is presented in a unique and innovative way.o rich cultural heritage, meltingo with the sounds of our present and performing a well-deserved recognition not only to local musicians and composers, but also to those monuments and sites that speak for themselves of our roots and customs.".
Terra Lucis, directed jointly by the Fundación CV MARQ and the Asociación Cultural Música de Hoy, includes six videos recorded in the Cova de l'Or of Beniarrés, the Sanctuary of Plà de Petracos in Castell de Castells, La Illeta dels Banyets in El Campello, the Tossal de Manises in Alicante, the Almudaina Almohad Tower and the Cava Gran de Agres set to music by the scores of Jesus Mula, Ximo Cano, José del Valle, Sonia Megías, Sara Blanco and David Leal.
The ssix pieces of music are performed by Lumina Ensemblea group formed by four saxophonists from Alicante: Javier Carrillos and José Antonio Suayboth teachers at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Alicante "Guitarist José Tomás"; Pablo de la Fuentesoloist and teacher in different escuelas de música de Alicante, e Isaac Verdúsaxophone soloist of the Symphonic Band of the House of H.M. The King.
