Xi'an Warriors' exhibition heads towards the end of summer with a new record of 125,000 visitors

"The Legacy of the Qin and Han Dynasties, China. The Warriors of Xi'an". continues to record historic figures for the Archaeological Museum of Alicante, exceeding the 125,000 visitors when it is around the months of exhibition.

The exhibition of the Warriors of Xi'an will remain in Alicante until 28 January 2024 and features an outstanding selection of 10 original terracotta sculptures, 9 warriors and 1 horseThis is the maximum number of these pieces currently authorised by the National Cultural Heritage Administration of China (NCHA) based in Beijing, along with 120 other pieces or sets of these originals, some of which have never been exhibited outside China, and 5 replicas, including 2 carts, which are distributed in the three temporary galleries of the MARQ.  

The Warriors of Xi'an' includes a selection of 120 original pieces from nine museums and institutions in China and, as Navarro pointed out, "offers an original and elaborate exhibition design with didactic and accessible materials for all audiences, as well as sensorial resources that have made it possible to create an immersive atmosphere through different smells".

On the other hand, the MARQ's online shop is now available to the public not only in the original objects linked to the exhibition 'The Warriors of Xi'an', but rather an extensive and complete list of the catalogues published for some of the most significant exhibitions that have passed through the museum throughout its history.
