MARQ presents at FITUR the next international exhibition "Dynasties. The first kingdoms of Prehistoric Europe".

Eighteen museums and museum institutionsíThe characteristics of Spaina, Hungaryía, Slovakia, Germany, Bélgica, Portugal and Denmark are collaborating on the next exhibition which will be on display at the Archaeological Museum of Alicante, MARQ, from the end of March. This morning the President of the Provincial Council and President of the MARQ CV Foundation, Toni Pérez, presented the international exhibition "Dynasties. The first kingdoms of Prehistoric Europe".

Toni Pérez highlighted "the research and dissemination work carried out by the MARQ and Fundación CV MARQ teams to present an exhibition such as Dynasties. The early kingdoms of Europe Prehistoric which will allow us to continue to enjoy a unique exhibition at the Alicante museum, dependent on the Provincial Council, which will bring us closer, in this case, to the Prehistory of our continent, in an era, the Bronze Age, which was a decisive turning point in the history of Europe. The moment in which many aspects that today form part of our reality took on a new nature: warlike confrontations, social inequality, national identity, competition for territory, technological development, international trade... in short, "it will bring us closer to a new era, a new era that will bring us closer to the future".  our common history through European archaeological and cultural heritage" to continue attracting tourists and visitors to our province, maintaining the level of excellence that the MARQ demonstrates at national and international level both for the exhibitions it presents and for the museum experience it offers its visitors, enriching the destination offer of our Costa Blanca, making it a unique experience. 

Curated by Juan Antonio López Padilla of the MARQ, Museo Arqueológico de Alicante, Roberto Risch, of the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, and by János Dani, from Museum Déri, in Debrecen, Hungary. Among the exceptional pieces that could beán the three halls of the MARQ there are several groups of extraordinary patrimonial value, such as the golden tiara of Quinta da Água Branca (Portugal), the decorated sword and battle axe of Téglas (Hungrs), the trousseau of the tLeubingen cumulus (Germany), the halberds of theMeltz site (Germany), the gold hat from Schifferstadt (Germany) or the gold-hilted sword from Guadalajara and the gold diadem from Caravaca de la Cruz (Spain).a).

In addition to these objects, the exhibition alsoéThe Commission's intention is to bring our country into the European Union.ís, for the first time, a wide selection of pieces from the 19th century excavations carried out in Spain by the Siret brothers in Almeria.íThey have been kept in the Museum of Art and History in Brussels for the last few years. last 120 yearsños.

Among the original pieces will also be exhibitedá one of the gold-knobbed swords from the Nebra Disc ensemble, the first known representation of the celestial vault in Europe, which was included in the UNESCO Memory of the World Register in 2013.
