The 20th edition of the MARQ Summer School kicks off with educational workshops and activities for the little ones

The MARQ has launched a new edition of the Summer School which celebrates its twentieth anniversary this year. Addressed to boys and girls aged 6 to 12The event will begin on 1 July and will continue until 23 August with educational workshops and fun activities.

The Deputy for Culture, Juan de Dios NavarroThe team of the Didactic Unit, Accessibility, Club Llumiq and Social Responsibility of the CV MARQ Foundation has prepared a very special programme so that children can enjoy the summer holidays in an exceptional environment that encourages interest in culture through the discovery of our history in an active and participatory way, stimulating curiosity and a love of learning.

The planned activities include treasure hunts, visits to the different rooms of the museum's temporary and permanent exhibitions, as well as craft workshops and archaeological excavations. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to interact with the different exhibitions and immerse themselves in the past, understanding the importance of history in our present. At the end of each week, the children will receive a diploma to celebrate their participation.

From Monday 1 July and over a period of eight weeks, from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.the Alicante museum will deploy an extensive calendar of activities focused on the children from 6 to 12 years old and with a general tariff of 40 euros per week and participant, and a special price of 32 euros during the week of 12 to 16 August.
