The cultural centres of the Diputación de Alicante celebrated last Friday La Noche en Blanco' (White Night) with nearly two thousand people in attendance. The MARQthe MUBAG and the Juan Gil-Albert Institute of Culture of Alicante joined this initiative, together with the rest of the city's cultural centres, to offer a wide variety of proposals. with free admission for the whole family.
The Deputy for Culture, Juan de Dios Navarro, has valued these figures positively and stressed that "this initiative is a different way of bringing the contents of the museums and cultural spaces of the Provincial Council closer to the citizens. They have all offered a wide range of possibilities to celebrate 'La Noche en Blanco' with culture as a reference".
The number of people attending the Archaeological Museum of Alicante was a thousand people, that enjoyed an open day and took part in an open house. workshops didactics on the international exhibition "Dynasties. They were also able to participate in the guided tours, follow the dramatised visit and attend the concert by Contrapuctum that took place in the museum's library.
The Gravina Fine Arts Museum received some 600 visitors who attended the different proposals such as guided tours, children's workshops, which left original figurines, or the musical evening, with a full house around the Coral Alacant. Finally, around a hundred visitors came to Casa Bardin to enjoy the programmed activities that revolved around the exhibition "Landscape as an event".of the Dimasla collective (Diana Lozano and Álvaro Jaén), curated by Pablo Bellotas well as to the Night of music on vinyl with Nacho Age.
