MARQ closes 2024 with more than 158,000 visits and consolidates its role as a museum of reference

The museums of the Diputación de Alicante have concluded a successful year with interesting exhibitions and proposals which, in the case of the MARQ, began with the closing of the 'Warriors of Xi'an' and its record number of visitors and concluded with the inauguration of the exhibition 'Cities of Light. Àkra Lueké, Lucentum, Laqant', open to the public since 20 December.

The wide range of exhibits on display at the MARQ during 2024 has been rewarded with the figure of 158,000 visitors. Precisely the January was the busiest month of the year, with more than 32,000 visitors who came to bid farewell to "The Legacy of the Qin and Han Dynasties, China. The Terracotta Warriors of Xi'an", which has become the most visited temporary exhibition in the history of the museum with 278,000 visitors since its opening in March 2023.
