20-01-25.- The MARQ exhibition Dynasties. The First Kingdoms of Prehistoric Europe'. has received the Emporia International Award for Ephemeral Architecture 2024 in the category for the best mounting of a non-travelling ephemeral exhibition.
The Deputy for Culture, Juan de Dios Navarrohe emphasised "the importance for the Diputación de Alicante of the recognition that the MARQ exhibitions receive for the scientific and exhibition work behind each show, as well as the accessibility resources that bring them closer to all kinds of audiences.". "This award demonstrates the high level of quality of the proposals offered by the MARQ, as well as the level of demand of the teams that make up the MARQ."said Navarro.
The Emporia Awards recognise creativity, technical workmanship and the achievement of objectives in the various fields of architecture and ephemeral decoration.. 2024 is the 12th edition of these awards, which are in competition with those made in the years 2023 and 2024 by architects, decorators, designers, agencies, specialised companies and other professionals or companies related to ephemeral architecture and ephemeral interior design.
In this edition, the jury valued the work carried out by the Fundación CV MARQ and the Museo Arqueológico de Alicante in setting up the international exhibition 'Dynasties. The first kingdoms of Prehistoric Europe', designed by the architect Angel Rocamora and on show from March until October 2024. Curated by Juan Antonio López PadillaAccording to the Museum's archaeologist and exhibition technician, 'Dynasties' has offered visitors the opportunity to appreciate masterpieces of Bronze Age craftsmanship from continental Europe.
The Emporia Awards are the most prestigious national awards in the design of ephemeral structures and are organised by the College of Interior Designers and Decorators of Catalonia and Veredictas Internationalwith the support of the Consejo General de Colegios Oficiales de Decoradores y Diseñadores de Interiores de España, the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, the ETSAB of Barcelona, the Asociación de Carpas e Instalaciones Temporales, the Asociación de Ferias Españolas (AFE), the FEFIC, the Asociación de Agencias de Eventos Españolas Asociadas and the Club de Marketing de Barcelona.
The awards for this 12th edition will be presented next year on 11 February at a ceremony to be held during the ASPEC Forum, in the Puy du Fou park at Toledo.
