The international temporary exhibition 'Dynasties. The first kingdoms of Prehistoric Europe' at MARQ MARQ has received the EMPORIA Selection Awardin the category for the best mounting of an ephemeral, non-travelling exhibition, at a gala event held in Toledo.
The Deputy for Culture, Juan de Dios Navarrohe emphasised "the importance for the Provincial Council of the recognition that the exhibitions of the Archaeological Museum of Alicante receive for the scientific and exhibition work behind each exhibition promoted by the Fundación CV MARQ and the Museum.". "This award demonstrates the high level of quality of the exhibitions offered by the MARQ, as well as the high level of demand of the teams that make up the MARQ."he pointed out.
The EMPORIA Awards, International Award for Ephemeral ArchitectureThese awards recognise creativity, technical workmanship and the achievement of objectives in the different fields of architecture and ephemeral decoration. 2024 marks the 12th edition of the awards, which are open to works of ephemeral architecture carried out in 2023 and 2024 by architects, decorators, designers, agencies, specialised companies and other professionals or companies related to ephemeral architecture and ephemeral interior design.
Curated by Juan Antonio López PadillaAccording to archaeologist and exhibition technician at the Alicante museum, this proposal, which was on display from March until October 2024, offered visitors the opportunity to appreciate masterpieces of Bronze Age craftsmanship from continental Europe. In addition to the curator himself, the award was collected by the director of the MARQ, Manuel Olcinathe manager of the Fundación CV MARQ, José Alberto Cortésand the architect in charge of the exhibition design Angel Rocamora.
