The President of the Alicante Provincial Council Luisa Pastor closed on the 24th the exhibition "Xixona.La Clau del Regne" which has been on display in the municipal hall "El Teatret" of this municipality since last November. Pastor was accompanied by the deputy for Culture Juan Bautista Roselló and by the local mayor Ferran Verdúamong other authorities. The exhibition, which has been visited by more than 2,000 people, brings together around a hundred pieces from the excavations carried out in the castle of the municipality by Fr. José Belda in the 1940s.
