The President of the Provincial Council of Alicante, Luisa Pastorand the vice-president of the Association of Parents of Children with Cancer of the Valencian Community, José Bernardo Garcíasigned this morning a collaboration agreement between the MARQ Foundation and Aspanion for facilitating accessibility of the members of this group to the Archaeological Museum and its sites.
Among the proposals that have been agreed upon is the design of a programme of leisure and free time activities for children with cancer in order to bring them closer to the temporary and permanent exhibitions museum, as well as the heritage of the archaeological sites of the Illeta dels Banyets and the Tossal de Manises. The aim of this proposal is to improve their quality of life and to allow for an optimal The use of their leisure time, together with their parents and relatives.
Pastor pointed out that This collaboration is of great interest to make culture accessible to children and adolescents who suffer or have suffered from an oncological disease, as well as to their families. From MARQ we will look for the most didactic and fun formulas with the aim of offering them a cultural programme where entertainment, interpersonal relationships and knowledge of our history take precedence.
