The number of visitors registered this weekend at the Archaeological Museum of Alicante has been 3,555 peopleThe visitors were able to enjoy, free of charge, the exhibitions housed in the centre and the different educational activities organised by the MARQ, such as the historical fencing exhibition and the great gymkhana. In addition, around 500 children have participated in the children's workshops on making bricks, reusable bags and windmills.
For its part, 1,527 visitors participated in the Gravina Fine Arts Museum in some of the activities organised by the complex, such as the dramatised visit to the exhibition "The 19th century at the MUBAG. From the formation to the fullness of an artist".the workshop of artistic papers, the recycling workshop for children or the guided tours of the exhibition "Pinazo in the IVAM Collection". In addition, it is worth noting the attendance of more than 200 people at the jazz concert given by the Bridge Quintet band on Saturday night at the centre.
Finally, the Museum of the Provincial Consortium of Firefighters also wanted to join in this weekend's celebration of International Museum Day with a special programme that included, among other things, games, workshops and guided tours, and which brought together more than 926 people.
