Once again, the Marq wanted to celebrate the festivity of the 12th October with an open day that more than a thousand people from Alicante and tourists took advantage of to get to know our museum, its archaeological sites and the Almudaina Almohad monument. The visit to the Marq had the added attraction of the international Maya exhibition and children's workshops organised by the didactic unit in which children and their families were able to take part in a multitude of free activities related to Spanish research into the Maya culture.
On Thursday morning the Marq received 798 visitors, Lucentum 75, the Illeta del Banyets 158 and 24 people were at the Almudaina Tower.
