INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES
Lectures on the Bronze Age in Europe.
Coming soon to MARQ
The last two decades have witnessed great advances in research on Bronze Age societies in Europe. The increase in extensive excavations of sites, together with the development of new techniques for the study of archaeological materials, have gone hand in hand with the emergence and development of new perspectives in research.
This has helped to open the way for new hypotheses that are redrawing our picture of Early Bronze Age societies in continental Europe.
Coinciding with the last weeks of the exhibition "Dynasties. The first kingdoms of prehistoric Europe" a group of the most renowned specialists on this crucial stage of our prehistory meet at the MARQ in an international meeting to discuss the latest developments in research on the emergence, development and collapse of three of the most advanced societies of the second millennium BC: El Argar, Unetice and Otomani-Füzesabony.
