The Islamic bronzes of Denia (5th c. AD 5th / 11th c.)

This monograph analyses one of the most important sets of bronze pieces from the Islamic period in the Iberian Peninsula, found on a site in the city of Denia at the beginning of the 20th century. The detailed study of the pieces found at that time reveals the connections of the Taifa of Denia with Mediterranean trade and with the workshops of the Fatimid Caliphate.
