El MARQ fue seleccionado como finalista para optar a los premios Telefónica Ability Awards en la categoría de Accesibilidad. Estos premios otorgan la distinción de Compañía Ability a las empresas y entidades que mejor integran la discapacidad en su modelo de negocio y gestión.
El MARQ presenta en Fitur un nuevo DVD con información sobre el museo alicantino y sus parques arqueológicos. Con una duración de 45 minutos, se distribuirá gratuitamente en centros escolares.
El MARQ es de los pocos museos que acude con stand propio a FITUR, y el único que lo hace ininterrumpidamente desde el año 2001; por lo que en la edición de este 2011, cumple su X aniversario de participación en el certamen turístico de alcance internacional más importante que se celebra en nuestro país.
Un libro en el que se recogen las actuaciones realizadas en la fortificación durante los últimos 25 años y en el que han participado quince investigadores de prestigio.
El Hermitage Museum de San Petersburgo ha inaugurado la exposición “Una doble cabeza de águila hallada en Lucentum”, procedente de los fondos propios del MARQ...

La Fundación MARQ y el Hermitage Museum de San Petersburgo han firmado un convenio de colaboración para el desarrollo conjunto de programas de investigación y conservación de monumentos arqueológicos.

The MARQ participates in the X International Archaeological Film Festival of Bidasoa held in Irún (Guipuzkoa) with the documentary "Art and Empire".
This film event aims to raise awareness of history and archaeology through the dissemination of audiovisual works.
MARQ has been selected as a finalist for the Telefónica Ability Awards in the Accessibility category. These awards give the distinction of Ability Company to the companies and organisations that best integrate disability into their business and management model.
The illustrator Roberto Innocenti, Andersen Award 2008 -considered the Oscars of Illustration-, visited the MARQ last Friday 12th November, on the occasion of his stay in Alicante.

On the 27th of October at 18:00 in the auditorium of the MARQ will take place in the MARQ, the act of homage to the figure of Dr. D. Hermanfrid Schubart, prestigious researcher of the prehistory and protohistory of the Iberian Peninsula and prominent member of the German Archaeological Institute of Madrid, of which he was director.
Call for two training grants in Museum Restoration for the Provincial Archaeological Museum.
The purpose of this public call is to award two training grants in Museum Restoration for graduates in Fine Arts with the Intensification Line in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage and Graduates of the School of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, for the MARQ, Alicante Archaeological Museum.
